EDD Talks is an invitation-only, BIPOC-focused, 90-minute, 100% plant-based, leadership-lunch and learn that features a moderated panel of plant-based clinicians and subject matter experts in the fields of plant-based nutrition and/or community food justice and wellness advocacy as well as a catered healthy plant-based vegan lunch.

Participants will enjoy a 100% plant-based chef-curated lunch, a moderated expert panel focusing on the innumerable benefits of plant-based lifestyle, particularly as it relates to prevention, reduction & reversal of the top chronic diseases disproportionately-impacting black and brown communities and a post-panel Q & A segment.

WHOSE INVITED

Clergy, politicians, healthcare professionals, fitness brands, corporate entities, non-profit and philanthropic community leadership, serving the interest of disproportionately impacted communities.

WHAT’S OUR GOAL

Aside from keeping the BIPOC community health conversation going as we lead up to our upcoming EDD Summit, sharing with community leadership a healthy, flavorful plant-based lunch while learning and asking questions of our moderated panel, we ultimately hope to create opportunities for deeper collaborative community engagement around a healthy, flavorful and affordable plant-based lifestyle as well as the promotion of nutritive community re-education where it’s needed most.
