EDD Town Halls & Tastings are 2 hour, plant-based clinical, culinary & socio-environmental health & equity programs that’s comprised of a virtual and in-person clinicians, activists and subject matter experts in the fields of plant-based nutrition, equity and the environment.


Participants will enjoy two plant-based healthy food stations provided by BIPOC owned business owners, as well as opportunities to support student-owned, businesses that offer plant-based services and/or products. 


This program is open to HBCU students, staff and faculty and takes place only on HBCU campuses.


HBCU students, faculty, staff and collaborative partners. 


To spur dialogue and interest in lifestyles that significantly aid in the reduction of risk factors for our top chronic diseases among future HBCU leaders, staff and faculty. To encourage resolution-centered dialogue regarding food insecurity, access, black and brown veganism and health equity in safe spaces.

We also encourage support of student businesses through free vending while providing free tastings that ae provided by BIPOC,  WFPB chefs.   We hope to create opportunities for deeper collaborative engagement with HBCU youth around a healthy, flavorful and affordable plant-based lifestyle as well as the promotion of nutritive community re-education where it’s needed most.
